Lotte tells the story of an ugly duckling becoming a beautiful swan. Lotte (Nynke Beekhuizen) is a smart girl but so ugly that her job interviews never work out. By pure chance she is hired as a secretary in the successful fashion company Emoda. She turns out to be the ideal personal assistant to the charming boss Vico (Lars Oostveen).
