White-painted walls, floors and ceilings create a calm base to build on. As the outside light falls through the American shutters it transforms into indirect interior lighting. The living room, with its jacquard woven armchairs, offers a congenial sitting area around an open fire. The stripped pine desk and Venetian glass collection give the study a spicy Oriental flavour, which is echoed in the Moroccan Hammam ambiance of the bathroom, with its tadelakt finish. The bedroom, complete with antique dressing table and china collection, is an oasis of peace and harmony.
